W. Brad Parker, M.D., attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, and received his M.D. in 1986. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1991.
Dr. Parker moved to Austin and began practicing at Medical Park Orthopedic Clinic in 1991. He specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, minimally invasive joint replacement, and articular cartilage restoration. He has attended numerous courses and received extensive training in these areas of medicine.
Dr. Parker is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Board Certified in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is also active in numerous professional organizations.
He and his wife Kathleen live in central Austin and have four daughters.
